We recently received word that Today, Inc. Inc., which makes the most popular ranking of the fastest growing private companies in America, has ranked TrendSpider at number 130 on its annual Inc. 5000! The list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the most dynamic sector of the economy – independent companies. Facebook, Chobani, Under Armor, Microsoft, Patagonia, and many other well-known names have earned their first national appearance as an honor on Inc. 5000.

Our national ranking came in at 130 out of 5,000, but we also ranked 12th nationally in vertical software, 9 in Illinois, and 8 in Chicago. Among the top 500, the three-year average revenue growth rate rose to 2,144 percent. Together, these companies have added more than 68,394 jobs over the past three years.

Companies are rated in 2022 Inc. 5,000 according to percentage revenue growth from 2018 to 2021. To qualify, businesses must have been incorporated and generate revenue by March 31, 2018. They must be US-based, privately owned, for-profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies – As of December 31, 2021. (Since then, some on the list may have been released to the public or acquired). The minimum revenue requirement for 2018 is $100,000; The threshold for 2021 is $2 million. As always, Inc. The right to reject applicants for personal reasons. The growth rates used to determine the company’s ratings were calculated to four decimal places.
