What are futures contracts?
A futures contract is a type of derivative contract agreement to buy or sell a commodity or security at a date in the future at a predetermined price. Futures contracts or “futures contracts” are traded on exchanges and require an approved futures trading account. They are standard contracts that require delivery of a certain quantity and/or type of goods in a specified expiry month.
How to activate futures data
To activate futures data in your plan, simply type a futures contract (ES1!, NQ1!, etc.) into the indicator search bar in the upper left corner of your chart. From there, the “Exchange Agreement” prompt will appear on your screen. Next, click on the “Click here” button and follow the steps. You will be asked to agree to the terms as well as enter some personal information.
After that, you will see the image below. This form is pre-filled to meet the requirements of a non-professional subscriber, so most users will just need to check the box and click Continue at the bottom of the form. Finally, fill in your personal information, click on the box next to “I confirm…” and click on “Submit”.
